March 2013
i kept Owen of school for quite a while after his operation for his tummy, but he's alot better and everything is healing very nicely, i wasn't impressed with his new community nurse though as his old one retired, i liked her very much and she was very good with owen and getting things sorted out, but when his new community nurse came out to take owens bandages of, or so i thought she just looked at them, and said i can take them o, and more or less left for me to do it and take care of them the best i can.
owen went back to school mid march, and loved it.
i had some good news for Owen, after we saw his pediatrician and orthopedic consultant, he will be able to have an operation later this year to help release the tendon's, were not doing this for health reason's but to make him more comfortable, i.e when getting dressed, or moving him, in his car seat, and also to give him the ability to move his arms and touch things, but no surgery on his hips, until he's in alot more pain apparently, i wasn't happy with the way he put it like that, as both his hips are dislocated and can cause him alot of pain at times, but the main factor would be it would be such a big operation for him, it would be his biggest operation and he would be in hospital a very long time, and it may result in making his health worse and because he's so small at the moment and not causing him constant pain he thought there was no point, until it evolves into a worser situation.
an EEG at the end of this month, and an MRI scan in april.
it was a year ago that we were in Florida for owen's make a wish foundation wish, and i still think about it all the time, and how much fun we had, owen absolutely loved it, and it was the perfect wish for owen, a once in a lifetime wish for owen that he'll never experience again but are experience there was amazing.
