Marh 2014
Had a lovely night out with the girl's at the start of the month, had a fab night with fab company, just what i needed, a nice chilled night and unwind.
Poor Owen got hit on the bus, apparently a girl in front of Owen was getting agitated and apparently she tried to hit Owen quite often which i did not know, but this time she got out of his chair and hit him on the chest, Owen looked a little stunned they said, which i thin anybody would have, im not going to put a complaint in as the bus driver already has to and is trying to get her moved, i was just concerned that Owen was OK, which he was, as per usual full of smiles :)
As i said in my last post i was really looking forward to seeing owen's pediatrician and neurologist this month and discuss how he is and my main concern was the amount of chest infection's he seem's to be getting as having one every month can not be good.
We've made a plan on what to do, Owen currently has a fungal infection which we suspect is from his thrush in his mouth which he's had the last 3 year's, his mick-ey button site is really red and bleeding at the moment, along with rashes that keep appearing and disappearing, so Owen, will in a few week's start a course of fungal medication to help settle everything down.
we will then we starting Owen on inhaler's like asthma inhalers to help with his occurring chest infection's, if that fail's he will take some medication to reduce his saliva or be on a constant antibiotic,, also looking at increasing owen's medication for his sparsity since he's gained weight or look into surgery to help with this there are two kinds of surgery, either a baclofen pump, or a new surgery were they cut some nerves.
owen's scoliosis hasn't got worse from what she can see, but they will have a better look when Owen has his surgery for his arm later in the year.
so lot's of positive new's, next month i find out if he need's the surgery on his mouth, because his teeth arnt so good x
