January 2015
well what a month, owen hasn't had a good start to 2015, but hopefully hell get better
had a fantastic new year's wth my friends' owen doesn't stay up to him it's just another normal day, but it had just gone midnight and i get a phone call from my mum worried should she call an ambulance for owen, i was in the next village so one of my friends dropped me off, owen's breathing had improved a little since December, but he suddenly went back downhill, it was a nightmare trying to get owen comfortable, trying to help him breath for a few day's after a few day's of trying everything possible at home, couldn't do it on my own so we went to hospital were they told my his chest infection had turned into pneumonia, so we spent 3 day's in hospital on strong antibiotics for owen through an IV, he had physiotherapists com twice a day to do chest physio, he wasn't completely back to normal when we left hospital but he was alot better than before, the whole of January he's mainly being ill, plus it was lovely to be back home and in are own surrounding's.
he had 3 week's of school and only went back last week, only another two weeks and he's got a week off, since he became ill in December it has knocked him alot, he's taking naps during the day which he never used to do, it was very rarely, and know it's a daily routine it feels like, hopefully when it's nicer weather, it may improve, but the extra sleep means he needs a little extra energy.
own s know taking his suction and nebulizing machine to school so if he does sound chesty they can help, but may gosh extra luggage alert, they have to go in a big suitcase.
