DECEMBER 2010
Heya back again
Well quite alot being;s happening owen's being quite ill the past month, being sick all the time, so the doctor put him on gaviscon to nutralise his tummy, but he continued being sick, so monday just gone (11/29/10) we went to hospital (hull royal) i packed an overnight bag just incase as you never know what's going to happen now, but we didn't end up staying, which i was happy about, the doctor said to stop feeding him through the mouth for a week and just to feed him through his tummy, then after a week try him with some food, it's just like weaning him back onto food like when he was a baby, but i now it's the best thing for him, also he said because he's on so many medication ( a cocktail) as he said lol, that with his reflux (disease he said) it can be normal, and that his bowls may not be working properly from all the medications also, owen's also started school now, it does seem very weird as he's 2 years old, but he only goes 2 days a week, so really it's just swopped from nursery to school, it does seem weird him going though as i don't take him in, he gets a bus from the house, the weather's being absolutly awful i think you all must agree, we've more or less being inside all the time, as i can't get the pram though the snow, and i don't want owen getting a cold, as it can be very difficult for him to get rid of.
Were going back to leeds hospital on the 21st december for owen's results from his skin and muscle biopsy to determine if he has mitochondrial disorder i'm so hoping that were getting a diagnosis but at the same time scared as if it did come back positive i do not no how i would react, you can't prepare yourself what so ever, i've tryed and it doesn't work.
Update soon xx
